Submit Samples

UGA and on Campus customers:

We have 4 Drop-off Locations where your samples can be submitted in a refrigerator:

• Coverdell Building, Genetics Department, Freezer Room on first floor
• Chemistry building, CSS, ABI fridge-bottom shelf
• Miller Plant Science building, Room 3401 on 3rd Floor (call us for Code!)
• Life Science Building, Genetics Department, Fridge is located in their office break room

All Drop-off have submission forms (single tube sequencing form or plate sequencing form) and spare envelopes in which your primers can be submitted. Please do not tape your samples to your submissions sheet.

Tips: If you are sending plates, please ship them on Dry-Ice and seal them with a plate sealing foil. You might also want to write “this side up” on your cooler or box.

Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8 am-4.30 pm. You can always come to our office and drop your samples off there. Sample submission for single tube sequencing and Oligonucleotide can be made through the Office of Research Services web portal.
